KASHMAR

Kashmar is a city in the Khorasan region located in north-eastern Iran. Although rug production is abundant, it is not particularly linked to local traditions. In fact, the rugs made in Kashmar today replicate the typical patterns of other provenances such as Nain or Veramin. Kashmars are very compact, heavy rugs with high piles, knot density is not high, but they are very reasonably priced.
